La población de la Península Ibérica no es de raza pura

Todavía hay gente anclada en el siglo XVI preocupada por la limpieza de la sangre pero estudios demuestran que en la población de la Península Ibérica, hay 70% de europeos, 20% de sefardí y 10% de norafricano.

En 1492, la reina de Castilla decretó la expulsión de los judíos y permitió la estancia de los musulmanes, sólo por diez años más. Pero no todos se fueron, los resultados demuestran que muchos judíos se quedaron y se convirtieron al cristianismo.

En 1492 con la reconquista de Granada, a la población local musulmana, se le permitió continuar practicando el Islam. Pero a mediados del siglo XVI, comenzaron las revueltas moriscas y el resultado es que parte de esa población fue expulsada, deportada o dispersada hacia el norte de África y a otras regiones de la Península Ibérica. En el mapa genético se encuentra una mayor concentración de componente musulmán en Galicia, Asturias, León y Extremadura que en Andalucía oriental, a pesar de su proximidad geográfica con el continente africano.

El estudio genético demuestra que la época de ocupación musulmana en la Península Ibérica, más que de conquista fue de penetración del islamismo.

Para los expertos la religión y/o la cultura no va en la sangre, ni en las características físicas o genéticas del individuo y que cuando se habla de limpieza étnica, se está expulsando o exterminando a un individuo que tiene la misma composición genética que su adversario, pero con ideología distinta.

Los polvorones

Los polvorones son un producto típico de la repostería navideña del sur de España. Se puede describir como una variante de mantecado y son igualmente dulces de Navidad, ampliamente conocidos en toda España. Son famosos los elaborados en el municipio de Estepa (Sevilla). También son conocidos los polvorones fabricados en otras partes de España como en Castilla y León en la villa vallisoletana de Tordesillas.

Suele venderse envuelto en un papel y antes de comerlo, debido a su consistencia pulverulenta, suele apretarse en la mano de tal forma que la pasta queda apretada y puede abrirse con garantía de no deshacerse.

Las diferencias entre los polvorones y los mantecados están en diversas características:
El polvorón no lleva huevo en la masa, el mantecado sí
El polvorón lleva mucha más harina, lo que hace que se deshaga al comerlo al no tener huevo en la masa, el mantecado contiene mucha más manteca de cerdo
El polvorón es redondo u ovalado y el mantecado suele ser cuadradoEl polvorón se come únicamente durante las fiestas navideñas y el mantecado se come todo el año en lugares como Salamanca.
